Cheesecloth is a loosely-woven cotton cloth primarily used for making cheese, though many cooks boast its versatility and utilize the material when making almond milk, ketchup, fruit drinks, and an assortment of other homemade goodies. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. These cheese cloths are 75cm square and are manufactured in the UK from high quality, unbleached, fine-weave 'Blueloom' muslin.

Due to its size and its absorbent properties, it can be used as a kitchen cloth, avoiding single-use paper rolls. The cotton is certified by GOTS, an international entity that guarantees that textile companies comply with truly organic fabric standards and with social responsibility criteria.

The gauzy material lends itself well to cooking with poultry and can be used for basting, resulting in incredibly tender chicken. You can have one sample request of up to five fabric samples from us, free of charge (including free postage). The unbleached cheesecloth will allow for the deep herbal flavors to soak into your stew while keeping stems out of your bowl. Etsy’s 100% renewable electricity commitment includes the electricity used by the data centres that host Etsy. In addition, its network of fibers resistant to deformity and of high quality, allow it to be used as a strainer in the production of cheese or to line the cheese molds, favoring the draining of the rennet and obtaining a cheese with a harder consistency.

Love that it's organic - I use cheesecloth to cook with and strain foods - I don't need to be simmering pesticides in my soup! The cheesecloths are also used for lining cheese moulds prior to placing under the press and for wrapping certain cheese that require prolonged storage. The packaging includes 2 pieces of multifunctional filtration fabric, perfect for home production of cheese, yoghurt, and butter.
